I am in a book!!!
The well known publication is called International Contemporary Artists VI. It promotes the artwork of emerging and established artists to a vast public of art lovers, art collectors, gallery owners, and curators.
The company has a large (off-line) database which includes 15,000 contacts from 65 countries (art collectors, curators, etc) and is regularly sending newsletters and press releases to galleries, museums and to over 70.000 subscribers all over the world… so my work is now reaching a huge audience!
I feel exceptionally lucky to have been selected to contribute to such a fantastic publication. As a portrait painter, particularly one who believes in using the traditional techniques and rendering their subject as life like as I do, being recognised as contemporary is something you really strive for. Being in a book was one of my goals but I had no idea I would achieve this so early on in my career.
