Amazing! My oil painting of NHS Hero, Bluebell, selected to feature in Portraits of healthcare heroes. An art exhibition including work by emerging, professional and well-known portrait artists!
How art got us through
An exhibition of art all can understand, and yet so much more than just an art exhibition.
The online exhibition can be explored by medium, colour or theme. Themes include: personality in PPE, behind the masks, the face of resilience – the latter in which there are some particularly hard hitting images.
Furthermore, useful articles like ‘Art and Anxiety’, how engaging with art can be one of the best ways to manage anxiety.
We will never fully understand what each of these heroes has been through personally and professionally.
